• 1999: Supported the allocation of ten million dollars for the affordable housing initiative.

  • 2000: Worked with Riverside neighborhood to establish the Riverside Neighborhood Association.

  • 2001: In January 2001, Ken Reeves was part of a delegation of Cambridge residents and officials to bring books to Cuba.

  • 2002: Led Sister City delegation to Tskuba, Japan with the Cambridge Community Chorus debut in Tokyo Japan.

  • 2003: Led dedication of Clement Morgan Park.

  • 2004: Led Cambridge sister city initiative in Ivory Coast.

  • 2006: Started an internship program in his office in Cambridge City Hall Mayor’s Office. He has had 8 college interns over the past three years.

  • 2007: Led a 12 person Cambridge delegation for a three day Practitioners Institute at the Harlem Children’s Zone, a social service and education initiative supported by President Obama.

  • 2008: Proposed that MIT Partner with the two local theater companies to achieve the new Central Square Theater that opened in 2008.

  • 2009: Led the initiative for the new expanded Main Library project which opens fall 2009.
